Ignion’s antennas are now available on SnapEDA
Today, we are releasing Ignion’s Virtual Antenna™ catalog on SnapEDA to help engineers speed up their Internet of Things (IoT) designs.
Ignion is a global manufacturer of antennas that has been leading the antenna market over the past 20 years with a mission of accelerating IoT. The new catalog of symbols, footprints and 3D models includes multiband and multipurpose chip antennas supporting a wide range of wireless technologies including LTE, 5G, LoRa, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, BLE, GNSS.
Their antennas are easy-to-integrate due to their small form factor, which can be 10x smaller than conventional ones. For example, The NANO mXTEND™ antenna is just 3x2mm in size.
The catalog also includes the TRIO mXTEND™ antenna, an all-inclusive solution that can cover LTE, GNSS and BT in a single chip.
The Ignion CAD Models from SnapEDA follow IPC-7351B, IEEE-315, and SnapEDA’s custom standards. They can be exported to over 16 PCB design tools including Altium, KiCad, Autodesk EAGLE & Fusion360, Cadence OrCAD & Allegro, Mentor PADS, DesignSpark, DipTrace, Proteus, & more.
How to find and download Ignion models on SnapEDA
1. Visit SnapEDA
2. Search a specific part name like “NN02-101”, the manufacturer name “Ignion” or a keyword like “antenna booster”
3. Select the part and you will be redirected to the product page where you can find more information about the part such as datasheets, pricing and more.
4. Click Download to get the CAD models (symbol, footprint, 3D models) and export them to your PCB design tool.
And that’s it! You’ve now downloaded an Ignion CAD model that you now can instantly integrate into your design.
Happy designing!
